Last month, Samsung revised their mid-range Galaxy A (2017) Series. So, now the next turn is for the Galaxy J (2017) Series. Latest reports have suggested that the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) is getting ready to launch in the coming few months. The smartphone was spotted getting Wi-Fi certification at the Wi-Fi Alliance, signifying its near launch.

Wi-Fi Alliance showed the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) smartphone with model number SM-F530FM. No major specs details were posted about the device. However, the posting mentions that the smartphone was running on Android 6.0, Marshmallow during testing. Certainly, differences are expected regardless of what Wi-Fi Alliance suggests.

The company will most likely release the Galaxy J5 (2017) with Android 7.0, Nougat. Furthermore, the device may launch with the same 5.2-inch HD screen as its predecessor (Galaxy J5 2016); a faster chipset; revised front and rear cameras, ample storage and probably with 3 gigs of RAM. The company might also include biometric sensors in this line up. Still, little is currently known about what actual specs will be included.

Samsung hasn’t mentioned anything with regards to the new Galaxy J (2017) Series yet. Although we now know about the Galaxy J5 (2017)’s Wi-Fi certification, little is known about its official launch and release date. In any case, we will undoubtedly learn more about the Galaxy J5 (2017) in the coming weeks paving the way to its discharge.

More news about the J 2017 Series is expected to soon, as Samsung reintroduces Galaxy J7, Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J3. We can only wait in anticipation. We also expect a series of several launches for other mid-rangers soon after the Galaxy S8 unveiling. Previous reports have suggested official launch to be March 29th. However, Samsung will officially announce when they will launch the next flagship at MWC 2017 in March.
